Dr. Tim Hiebert
Dr. Tim Hiebert was born and raised in Steinbach, Manitoba. After graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Manitoba, he attended and graduated from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College with a Doctor of Chiropractic degree in 1997. He began his chiropractic career working at the Steinbach Chiropractic Clinic. After one year of working in Steinbach, Dr. Hiebert decided to move his practice to Winnipeg and bought Markham Chiropractic Centre.
Tim has three wonderful children. His son Addison was born in 2000, and two daughters followed: Logan in 2002 and Quinn in 2004.
Growing up, Dr. Hiebert received regular chiropractic care. Because of this, he decided that chiropractic was a natural choice for his future. In the years since he made that decision, Dr. Hiebert has become very passionate about the changes in your health that can come about from regular chiropractic treatment. He strives to learn new approaches and unique techniques to maximize health and healing.
Dr. Taylor Boughton
Dr. Taylor Boughton was born and raised in Oakbank, Manitoba. She earned her Bachelor of Science from the University of Winnipeg, where she competed as a member of the Wesmen volleyball team. She then went on to complete her degree at Northwestern Health Sciences University in Minneapolis.
During her time at NWHSU, Dr. Taylor pursued additional training beyond the core curriculum. She is certified in the MC2 Technique, has Advanced Proficiency in Torque Release Technique, and will complete her training to become an SOT Pediatric Spinal Practitioner in June 2026.
Dr. Taylor is deeply passionate about ongoing learning and is dedicated to providing meaningful, impactful care to every patient she serves. Her journey into chiropractic began while working as a receptionist at Markham Chiropractic, where she witnessed firsthand the power of care and the strength of the clinic community. Inspired by this experience, she pursued her chiropractic education and has never looked back.
She is passionate about chiropractic because it gives our bodies back the power to heal themselves, from the inside out. It doesn’t add anything artificial to our life; it simply allows our bodies to do all that they are capable of.
Courtney Penner
Acupuncturist
I’m Courtney Penner, licensed acupuncturist, graduate of Hua Xia Acupuncture & Herb College, and long-time member of the Markham family – yes, the one with the tiny needles (don’t worry, they’re not as bad as they look).
My approach is gentle, personalized, and preferably a two-way conversation. I’ll ask questions, listen to your answers, and create a treatment plan that fits your specific needs.
If you’re nervous about needles, you’re not alone. Most people are surprised by how relaxing acupuncture feels (some even fall asleep mid-treatment – honestly, I take it as a compliment).
My goal is simple: help you feel better, more balanced, and let your body heal.
Chiropractic Assistants
